  • “I love Pacha’s Pajamas because of the empowering message it gives children about their future and the environment. I often sense that the children I speak to shut down a little when they hear of environmental calamities. But this engaging story of a sweet but strong heroine coming together in song with the animal kingdom is of great value in helping kids feel able to affect their world. My own children immediately gravitated towards the cover and had questions about Pacha. The story speaks to their need for an environmental hero, and they quickly saw themselves in her. I am also very excited to have the Pacha’s Pajamas CD and book as a tool in reaching out to my patients about the importance of nature in their lives. As a pediatrician, I understand the accumulating scientific evidence that kids must get outdoors and into nature for their health. How to get them there is always the dilemma. Artists and entertainers are invaluable partners in the healer’s quest to engage kids in the natural world.”
~ Nooshin Razani, Pediatrician at Children’s Hospital and Research Center in Oakland
  • “Pacha’s Pajamas is a wonderful illustration showing how self-care is tied to earth care. The story introduces kids to not only self-awareness but also earth awareness. Kids, teachers, parents and guardians alike will be instantly charged with becoming ambassadors of the world to help make it a healthier and better place to live.”

  • A wonderful message of hopes and dreams and captures the emotions of both parents and kids alike. It features artists such as Lyrics Born and Cheech Marin and Mos Def. Pachas Pajamas is a hip hop musical with an inspirational, almost spiritual, message to kids telling them to follow their dreams. The narrative is fun to follow and the music is full of dance, hip hop and rap. It preaches love, peace, dreams and Momma Earth. Pacha’s PJ’s includes so many wonderful themes for children and adults. Environmental, economic, and social equality, dreams and transformation, family, species awareness, corporate pollution and control, and many, many more. Pacha meanders through entertaining, interesting, educational, and emotional interactions as she holds the Pacha Jamma nature festival. Their work really takes the reader through the experience of being there with all the animals and how elaborate they are described and how realistic they come to life. It is a great start to really help kids become aware of very important issues in our times and to get them off the couch and out into nature. I will highly recommend this to many of the parents and teachers I know to spread the word of Pacha’s Pajamas. ~Academic’s Choice Awards
  • We feel that from start to end Pacha’s Pajamas was absolutely amazing. Everything blended so nicely with the songs. I loved the voices I heard in the stories. The music felt catchy. The one thing I really like is that each song/story have a lesson to teach the kids. These are all positive lessons and I believe this will inspire many kids in many ways. ~ Super Mommy To The Rescue
  • It is a very eclectic collection of stories and music that helps teach valuable lessons. ~ Save More Spend Less with Heidi

  • The end will make you want to help the earth too! This book is good for young and grown-up kids and adults too. It teaches you how to make the earth better, and when you make the earth better, everyone feels better too. ~ Madeline (Age 10), Critic, Reader Views Kids
  • The part I like is where Pacha is talking with her dad and couldn’t breath and says, ‘my breath was running away and I just caught it’  and her mom takes out the magical pajamas and said, ‘I made something really special for you, these magical pajamas’. And I like the song, ‘Whoa whoa whoa, we are all connected.’ ~ Arlo (Age 5)
